Kirsten completed her 200hr training in June 2015. She started practicing at Thank in 2013. After doing yoga videos on YouTube for a year, she finally asked her mom for a monthly unlimited pass for her birthday and the rest is history.
Kirsten also works as a college advisor in Columbus City Schools and is frequently scheming ways to share her love and respect for yoga with young people. She is passionate about radical self-acceptance and her classes aim to empower people to explore and express themselves. Unapologetically. She believes yoga has the power to foster self-awareness and facilitate a sense of freedom that all should have access to. And she'll encourage you to take yoga off the mat. To be a badass yogi. To use your insight and strength to become advocates for yourselves and the world around you.
Her flows are inspired by foundational poses that build and shapeshift and challenge you to go deeper beneath the surface. By prioritizing the breath, she'll call on you to find peace in falling out of a pose. She know's what it's like to be your own worst critic, so she's committed to cultivating a space where gentleness and kindness are glorified.
