Types of Classes

 

All Levels

These classes are aimed at all students. While a familiarity with the postures may be helpful, we give plenty of alignment cues and adjustments to help you find the poses in your body. Is it going to be challenging? You bet. Is it going to be worth it? Well that's up to you, but we certainly think so.

 

Slow Jam

Life is fast, like sometimes too fast. And hard too, right? We spend so many of our waking hours efforting and working. Slow Jam is your opportunity to introduce a little bit of ease into all of that effort. Now, don’t get us wrong, this class isn’t just an hour long savasana, because ease isn’t always easy. Slow Jam is an hour of yin practice, lots of props, dim lights, and low (or no) heat.

 

$5 All Levels

We understand that with all of the fun adult things we have to pay for (mortgages, bills, food, etc etc etc) that sometimes yoga has to take a back burner. These $5 classes are the same great flows, just a little nicer on your wallet. 

 

Foundations

No. This is not a “beginner’s class.” However, it is 100% beginner friendly. We’ll use this 60 minute class to delve into the alignment of our practice. That means two things: long holds, which may or may not make your muscles shake & lots of repetition to allow the concepts to sink in. We’re also not going to claim this is a vinyasa class...our focus here is form not necessarily flow. Whether you’re new, looking for a refresher, trying to dig a little deeper, or just want to slow it down a little—this class is for you.

Accountability Class

You can also call this the "use-it-or-lose-it" pass. Essentially what you have here is an $85/month 12 class pass. Unlike our 10 class pass option, which has a luxurious 6 month expiration, you only have one month to use up those 12 classes. In other words: you gotta show up. This option is perfect if you often find yourself lamenting your inability to find the time to practice. This pass holds you accountable for getting your butt to the studio because you will quite literally lose 'em if you don't use 'em.

Also unlike any of our other pricing options this contract is set to auto-renew at the end of your month. Purchasing this contract is agreeing to a minimum of three recurring months. After the third month you are able to terminate the contract at any point. Termination before the 3 month minimum will result in an invoice for the remaining months.

Breakups are hard. You fall in love with a pose and convince yourself it’s the only one for you. But then you start to slip into habits you always said you’d avoid so, you group text your best friends wondering what to do and they all say “U DESERVE BETTER ♥”. So, what’s a yogi to do?

If you’ve been questioning your relationship to Chaturanga for a while now, maybe it’s time to call it quits. Join us for an afternoon of breakup songs and body awareness with Kirsten Brademeyer. In this workshop, we’ll deconstruct WHY we feel so attached to the pose and explore creative movements that offer similar strengthening without the messiness. In addition to substituting poses, we’ll also work on training our minds to opt out of conventional Vinyasas whenever given the opportunity. Old habits die hard, folks, and this will be no exception. 

As with any relationship, this breakup doesn’t mean you have to avoid your lost love forever. Maybe you just both have some growing to do, you know?
